Kama Sutra is a name you may be familiar with when it comes to erotic products. For years they have made some of the most wonderful massage oils, body paints, and powders for couples and now they have turned their extensive experience to vibrators.
I received the Kama Sutra Lavani Rabbit Vibrator for review and I was impressed by the quality, the luxurious look and feel, and the power. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let me dish on all the juicy details.
PACKAGING AND OVERALL DESIGN
It’s obvious that a lot of thought went into the making of this product. Even the packaging screams luxury, with a sleek black on black look accented with deep purples and gold. The vibrator is in a lovely black box with a printed slipcover over the top so it definitely looks gift-worthy and inside, you’ll find a black silky storage bag embossed with the Kama Sutra logo. Each product in the Rhythm by Kama Sutra line is named after an Indian Dance, with Lavani being a dance of erotic rhythm and powerful nature.
HOW IT WORKS
The Lavani Dual Stimulator is everything I have come to expect from a luxury sex toy. It is high-grade silicone, rechargeable and waterproof, with the charging ports so discreet I actually had to look in the manual to see where they are located. That is a good sign of water tightness if you like to play in the shower or tub because the water is just not going to get in such a tight opening.
The Lavani has 3 motors: 1 in the tip, 1 in the clitoral arm, and 1 in the mid-point of the vaginal arm. That means POWER. When all 3 are working together, you end up with some fantastic stimulation. It also has a very flexible clitoral arm which means it can make allowances for different shapes of anatomy and won’t press too hard on your clitoris as you angle the larger arm on your g-spot.
In terms of functions, Lavani has 4 intensities and 7 rhythms. If you’ve read my reviews before, you’ll know I’m not much of a rhythm girl. What I did like about the Lavani’s rhythms though was that you can increase the intensity on each one. That’s a feature you don’t find on cheaper vibes, which tend to give you intensities and then pre-programmed rhythms with set intensity levels. On the Lavani, each rhythm can be customized to begin at the intensity that works best for you.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE LAVANI
Overall this was a rabbit that I liked more than I thought I would. I really liked the g-spot curve of the arm and the extra ridges on the body as well. The clitoral arm fit my anatomy really well and I liked the flex of it because it meant that I would move the vaginal arm around and experiment with angles and not worry about gouging my clitoris.
Because I hate reading instruction manuals, it took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to modify the intensity levels of the rhythms but we can just chalk that up to my own impatience rather than a flaw with the toy itself. Once I got going, I actually really liked experimenting with the different levels and the up and down pull towards climax.
DO I RECOMMEND THE LAVANI?
I really liked the Lavani. Kama Sutra has done a great job with their first line of vibrators. If you like rabbits and want something high quality that is waterproof and silicone, this is a great step up. I have honestly seen inferior vibes go for much more money. If you’re looking for a gift, the design and packaging are just lovely and you get that real feel of luxury.
